Pahadi Basmati rice is grown in most of the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. It  is a Hard found rice. The grain of the Pahadi basmati rice is very thicker then other verity of the basmati rice grown in outside hills. This rice grain contains a very mesmerizing taste and smell. Specially kheer made by this basmati rice is more tasty then other rice verity’s.
